Fall in a Bottle

Adriana and I love sensory bottles ever since she was an infant, we have explored with many different types of sensory activities. When I came across this wonderful sensory bottle on Pinterest I was intrigued to try it out with Adriana. We did not follow the exact ingredients and steps as it was posted on The Soccer Mom Blog, but we made do with what we had on hand. As you can see in the photo it turned out great and Adriana is having a blast with our new "Fall" Globe.

What you will need:

- 1 mason jar

- 1 fabric leaf cut into small pieces to imitate mini leaves

- leaf confetti

- 1 small stick or branch

- 1 glue stick and glue gun

- Krazy glue

- water

Steps:

First, use the Krazy glue to seal the two lid pieces together; (mason jars have lids that are in two pieces. To prevent leaking I glued around the bottom of the lid to the outer round part). Check out my instagram story posts to see exactly how I did this.

Second, measure to see if your branch fits into your mason jar. Then when you re happy with the size and fit, use a hot glue gun and glue the mini branch to the inner lid.

Next, you will add a small amount of leaf confetti and your cut up fabric leaf to the jar.

Then, you will fill your mason jar with water to the very top (don't worry of spills you can easily wipe them away).

Finally, take your lid with the glued mini branch attached to it and screw the lid shut very tightly. Give it a small shake and you have "FALL IN A BOTTLE!"
